Since starting the practice of law, Alan has been involved in estate planning, probate and related matters, including preparation of wills and trusts, administration of trusts and estates, and will contests and other probate and trust litigation.  For over 25 years, Alan has also counseled and been active on a wide range of legal issues affecting nursing homes, assisted living facilities and retirement communities, including employment, real estate, non-profit corporate, administrative and litigation matters.  In addition, during the course of his practice, Alan has represented clients on matters involving real estate development and transactions, business planning and formations, elder law, workers' compensation claims, employment discrimination claims and other employment issues, and personal injury claims.  He has earned an "AV Preeminent" rating from his peers in Martindale-Hubbell, a designation signifying the highest level of professional excellence while adhering to very high professional standards of conduct and ethics.
Clark has an active probate, estate planning, and real estate practice, representing residents throughout the state of Iowa, including farmers and small business owners.  He also advises out-of-state individuals with interests in Iowa matters, including real estate, elderly family members, and ancillary probate.  In addition Clark handles probate and trust litigation including will contests.
